Fur Fashion- The Boycott Is The Best Argument

When looking through fur fashion collections, you shouldn't buy real fur but synthetic. Do not be fooled by advertisements fur constantly mentioning "skin of origin" or "green." We have seen that the farms are extremely cruel, and "green" is not synonymous with kindness. Our vanity would not justify this level of physical and psychological torture on innocent animals. Torture and death of sentient beings cannot, or should, be measured ecological parameters. Whatever they say, there are no excuses when it comes to fur and skins.

Dogs and cat skins

This research covers the worldwide underground - from supplier countries such as China, Philippines and Thailand to traders wholesale and retail in the United States, Germany, Italy, France and most recently, Denmark.

Generalities

Over two million dogs and cats are killed annually for their skins, especially in China and other Asian countries. Researchers have found between 50,000 and 100,000 cat furs, stored in animal products factories in China. Sacrifice them for at least ten dogs to make a single coat - or, for wearing fur of puppies. Up to 24 cats are slaughtered to make a single coat with your skin. The dog & the cut fur are both used in specific linings, trims, hats and in many decorative figures.

False labels

It is normal to place false labels on the skins of dogs and cats to hide their true origin. The dog skin fashion items have been marketed as:

- The gae-wolf,

- The goupee

- The Asian wolf

- The China wolf

- The Mongolia dog fur

The cat fur, on the other hand, has been sold as a rabbit, the maopee, the Goyangi, the katzenfelle, the natuerliches mittel, and the chat de Chine, & the gatto cinesi. Truth is, Chinese manufacturers told HSUS investigators that would place any label they want on the products of cat and dog fur in order to accelerate their commercialization. Among his suggestions included Asiatic raccoon (raccoon Asia) and Corsac fox (fox corsac) for dog skin and wild cat (wild cat) to the skin of the cat.

You should know by now that fur fashion is definitely a controversial debate. Before purchasing your new coat, make sure you are not being fooled. Try to think about alternative options that may allow you to feel beautiful, too.

New trend

A new trend is growing among New York designers: make skin garments coypu or water rat, a rodent that lives in swamps and along rivers.

Good and healthy option

As reported by the BBC, some designers of Manhattan explained that using this skin is "good and healthy" environment for the Mede. Of course, healthy because they asked the poor bug. The rodent, they argue, is being exterminated in the swamps of Louisiana because that constitutes a threat to vegetation. It is that, originally, the coypu lived in South Africa but then the species was moved to production of fur farms located in the northern Mexican state. When your skin consumption decreased, the ratites were released into the marshes, were reproduced and became a danger to the wetlands. Therefore, the authorities decided to exterminate them.
